Psychic Dentist,

A random thought, "They always went to the psychic dentist..." and another; Monsieur Propre, it just sounds funnier in French.

Last night went to a film screening at Artists' Television Access. Living Dangerously: Coming Out in the Third World. I was going to use the topic for conversation in my esl class this morning but today there was only one student as there is a field trip to Great America going on. So we talked about the differences of east coast and west coast people. I have had this conversation many times, last night too in fact, the main difference being the genuineness of east coast people, and the surfaceness of west coast. no offense intended. But, living in Japan, I experienced again the situation of follow-through being the norm. Of course, exceptions abound, and I love it here.

Photos coming soon to this blog I hope!

Hey, thanks. I like teaching here because the students are from all over the world. It's pretty fun. Is your blog gone?

i like that! and, tea ceremony tea is the best green tea, I think. frothy and deep-tasting. i heard that you are supposed to take 3.5 sips. and, in wakayama-ken where i was living, there is a convergence of several lengths of a pilgrim's road, and it has long been belie ed that the whole area there exists in 3.5 dimensions. what does it mean?

for my blog, it is a part, where the whole remains unseen but stays intact.

in seventh grade we learned that paradox, but it seems contrived a little. i mean, to cross a space, we do have to cross half, but we also have to cross a quarter, three quarters, there is no need to stop at a certain point, is there? what seemed intriguing about that setup was, that if you do only cross half, you will never reach the other side, but the space in between will eventually become smaller than the smallest measurable space.

The Writer

Wooden boats, musical instruments and fireworks are some of the best inventions. And cameras. I don't believe in following any one person or set of ideas. There are tiny satiations like orchids along the viny forest floor, blooming unseen, more gorgeous than some could keep from weeping over. Whenever I see the occasional sun rise the colors always surprise me like the flavor of tahini in Holland. Subway cars make great rhythm along the tracks, as does wind in treebranches, the sound pattern of running engines, and sometimes clothes in a dryer. I like Sumerian poetry.
